Job Summary
Provide comprehensive dental care to NEMS patients including examinations, diagnosis, treatment planning, preventive care, oral health education, surgical procedures (oral surgery, endodontics, fixed and removable prosthodontics), space maintainers, and treatment of diseases of the mouth. Maintain high standards of care, follow infection control and safety protocols, participate in team-based care, educate patients, assist in training staff, build relationships with patients and families, and lead dental clinic activities while meeting performance standards and regulatory requirements (HIPAA/OSHA).
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited school of dentistry recognized by the Nevada State Board of Dental Examiners
- Current License to practice dentistry in the State of Nevada
- Current Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) License
- Current documentation of Basic Life Support (BLS) required
- Must be able to fluently speak, read and write English
