Job Summary
Dentist position in Dayton, OH at an established FQHC seeking a DDS/DMD to provide comprehensive general dentistry services in a community health setting. Independent practice with a focus on underserved populations; responsibilities include maintaining a full patient schedule in clinic and community settings, utilizing modern diagnostic and treatment techniques, prescribing medications and treatment plans, coordinating care with specialists and staff, ensuring compliance with quality, safety, infection control, and credentialing standards, and delivering compassionate patient care. Requires DDS/DMD, Ohio license, DEA license, CPR/AED, and prior clinical experience.
Required Qualifications
- DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school
- Active Ohio dental license or ability to obtain
- Valid DEA license
- Current CPR/AED certification
- Previous clinical experience required — no new graduates
- Experience working with underserved or low-income populations preferred
