Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive dental examinations, diagnose oral health conditions, and develop evidence-based treatment plans while providing a wide range of dental procedures within scope of practice and in accordance with Dental Board of Australia requirements. Educate patients on treatment options and preventive oral health care, refer to specialist clinicians where clinically appropriate, and maintain accurate, timely clinical records. Collaborate with dental assistants, reception teams, and practice leadership to ensure seamless patient care and contribute to practice efficiency and commercial success. This role supports excellent patient outcomes and fosters a collaborative, safe team environment at National Dental Care, a nationwide provider of dental services.
Required Qualifications
- Strong clinical and diagnostic capability
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Confident treatment planning capability
- Sound professional judgement
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Current (or eligible) AHPRA registration as a Dentist
- Demonstrated experience as a practising Dentist
- Strong capability across general dentistry
- Part time or full time availability
Desired Qualifications
- Experience or interest in areas such as Invisalign®/clear aligners, cosmetic dentistry, implant dentistry, paediatric dentistry, sedation dentistry or other recognised special interest areas
