Job Summary
Diagnose, treat, and provide preventative dental care to incarcerated patients while creating treatment plans for extractions and restorations. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and maintain accurate dental records. Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or equivalent
- Valid dental license in the state where the facility is located
- Must possess an active BLS CPR Certification
- Current DEA registration
- Must have the ability to stand for long periods
- Must have the ability to lift and move patients (up to 50 pounds)
- Must have the ability to bend, squat, reach, push, pull, walk significant distances
- Must have the ability to perform physically demanding tasks like CPR
- Must have the ability to maintain good balance and endurance throughout a shift
- Must pass the facility's criminal background check and drug screening
