Job Summary
Provide clinical dental services including examinations, treatment planning, oral cancer screenings, restorations, sealants, bonded procedures, extractions, limited root‐canal therapy, minor oral surgery, denture construction, and other indicated treatments. Document patient status and care, maintain follow‐up processes, and provide instruction on oral health practices. Respond to patient and staff inquiries, prescribe medications when clinically appropriate, and participate in designated dental programs. Adhere to universal precautions and infection‐control standards while performing additional assigned duties related to dental operations. Requires a DDS or DMD, unrestricted Georgia dental license, and current DEA registration.
Required Qualifications
- DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school
- Unrestricted Georgia dental license
- Current DEA registration
- Current CPR/BLS certification for healthcare providers
- Experience in dental practice settings such as primary care, outpatient clinics, or similar environments
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Professional phone interaction skills
- Ability to maintain accuracy and efficiency in clinical and administrative tasks
