Examine patients' medical records, prepare them for treatment using oral sedation or anesthesia, and check teeth, gums, and other oral parts via X-rays and tests to diagnose dental problems. Identify tooth decay, provide restorative care, design and fit dental prosthetics, conduct extractions and root canal procedures, perform surgeries on diseased tissues and bones, prescribe medication as needed, and deliver periodontal therapy and minor oral surgeries. Educate patients on oral care while collaborating with Dental Hygienists and utilizing the EPIC EMR system. This full-time outpatient position offers a supportive environment with modern equipment, mentorship, and a strong referral base within a growing non-profit health system.
