Job Summary
Examine individuals requesting care, diagnose dental conditions, and prescribe or direct appropriate treatment in conformance with approved clinical protocols. Record patient encounters and complete referrals and paperwork to ensure accurate dental records. Educate individuals on oral health and its relation to overall health while traveling as necessary to meet operational needs or providing services on the Mobile Dental Unit. Maintain documentation compliance rates and participate in quality improvement tools to achieve desired measure goals. Follow infection and exposure control standards, sterile techniques, and all applicable federal, state, and local rules. Collaborate with support staff and leadership to attain efficiency and productivity goals while maintaining regular attendance.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited dental school
- Current California Dental License
- Current DEA Certificate
- Current CPR Certification
- Ability to travel from site to site as needed
- Experience in working with clients and staff from diverse socio-economic, ethnic, and cultural backgrounds
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with NextGen/EDR or Dentrix preferred
