Job Summary
Diagnose and treat diseases, injuries, and malformations of the teeth and gums while determining and implementing effective treatment plans for outpatients. Perform procedures including impressions for dentures, extractions, cavity repairs, and root canals. Advise and educate patients on dental health practices and consult with managers of other patient services to coordinate comprehensive treatment plans. Enter all pertinent information into patient medical records in accordance with procedures. Provide functional supervision of dental assistants, hygienists, students, externs, and residents as assigned. Report to work or remain during emergency operations as required. Full-time role involving hours at both the Dennis and Hyannis clinics, including evening and Saturday rotations.
Required Qualifications
- D.M.D. or D.D.S. from approved dental school
- Current Full, MA Dentist License or Limited License eligible Dentist
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers) Certification required
- Current MCSR and DEA
- Hours may include evening and Saturday rotation and providing coverage at other Dental site location(s) as needed
- 40 hours, full time
Desired Qualifications
- 3 years of experience as a Dentist preferred
