Job Summary
Dentist in Independence, LA providing preventive and primary dental care in a community health center setting. Responsibilities include examining patients, diagnosing dental conditions, prescribing or directing treatment, maintaining dental records, completing referrals and required paperwork, patient education on oral health, supporting continuing education for staff, and ensuring compliance with applicable regulations. Requires graduation from an accredited dental school, unrestricted Louisiana license, CPR, Louisiana CDS and DEA registrations; proficiency with Microsoft Office and EMR experience preferred; strong communication, attention to detail, multitasking, and adherence to confidentiality and organizational policies. Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited dental school
- Unrestricted license to practice dentistry in the State of Louisiana
- Current CPR certification
- Louisiana CDS and DEA Registration required
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- EMR experience preferred
- Ability to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing
