Job Summary
Diagnose and treat diseases, injuries, and malformations of teeth, gums, and oral structures through patient examinations, x-rays, and diagnostic procedures. Perform clinical tasks including cleaning, filling, extracting, and replacing teeth using rotary and hand instruments, while providing preventive dental services and hygiene education. Coordinate laboratory services and adhere to safety protocols, OSHA standards, and bloodborne pathogen requirements. Participate in morning huddles, chart reviews, and routine office meetings. Required Qualifications
- DDS or DMD degree
- Licensed in state in which practicing
- Ability to obtain licensure upon graduation
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate
- Current cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) certificate
Desired Qualifications
- Completion of a general practice residency (GPR)
- Completion of an advanced education general dentistry residency (AEGD)
