Job Summary
Dentist Floater responsible for diagnosing and treating diseases, injuries, and malformations of teeth, gingiva, and related oral structures, including performing routine and selected specialty services (endodontics, prosthodontics, oral surgery). Must be licensed to practice dentistry in California with a graduate-level dental degree; strong charting and documentation skills; experience with EDR/Dentrix/PMS; bilingual English/Spanish preferred; willing to work late shifts and Saturdays; able to work with children; provide clear treatment information to patients and staff; oversee equipment and supplies; refer to specialists when needed; maintain patient records and use practice management software; professional demeanor and effective communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate dentist with state license or regional boards and eligible to practice Dentistry in California
- General Dentist preferred with 2-3 years of experience
- Strong charting/documentation skills
- OJT accredited
- Bilingual English/Spanish (Preferred)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel (familiarity with medical terminology)
- EDR- Electronic Dental Record (Preferred)
- PMS- Practice Management System (Preferred)
- Familiarity with dental management programs such as Dentrix
- Licensure/Certification: DDS, OSHA Certification, CPR License, X-ray Radiation License
- Employees are responsible for maintaining certifications as required by job function or law
