Job Summary
The Southcentral Foundation seeks a Dentist responsible for a comprehensive range of dental treatments. Ideal candidates possess a thorough understanding of the cultural needs of Alaska Native communities. Applicants are required to have graduated from an accredited dental school and hold a Dentist license in Alaska. Specialty positions require a completed residency and Board certification/eligibility. Compliance with essential health screenings and immunizations is mandatory, alongside the completion of Basic Life Support certification.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited dental school
- Licensed as a Dentist in the State of Alaska for non-intermittent positions
- Current license for intermittent positions or Commissioned Corps
- Completion of an approved residency training program required for specialty dentistry positions
- Must be Board certified or Board eligible
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required
- ACLS, NRP, ATLS, ALSO and PALS as required for specialty and any certification relating to the scope of practice as required
Additional Requirements
- Native Preference under P.L. 93-638, as amended
- Compliance with Employee Health Procedure is a condition of employment
