Job Summary
Provide endodontic assessments and direct endodontic care to patients of all ages within SEARHC. Develop and promote endodontic programs, protocols and systems for endodontic care that lead to best possible outcomes. Act as advisor to the Dental Division Managers in all matters pertaining to endodontics. Acknowledges all communications and submits required reports and chart documentation in a timely manner. Performs additional duties assigned by the Dental Director. Key duties include endodontic therapy, endodontic surgery, retreatment, bleaching, and maintaining adherence to infection control and established protocols while delivering high-quality patient care.
Required Qualifications
- DDS or DMD degree from CODA accredited dental school
- Graduate of CODA-accredited endodontics program
- Dental Practice License in the State of Alaska or another US State
- Alaska license preferred
- BLS required
- Endodontic therapy experience on permanent dentition
- Endodontic surgery experience
- Vital and non-vital bleaching experience
- Treatments including retreatment of previous root canal therapy and apexification/recalcification
