Job Summary
Dentist (Endodontics) needed on a PRN basis in Summerville, SC. Responsibilities include performing root canal therapy (including complex and multi-canal cases), diagnosing and treating conditions affecting the tooth pulp and periapical tissues, utilizing modern endodontic techniques and technology, collaborating with dental teams on treatment planning and case flow, maintaining accurate documentation, and adhering to clinical/regulatory standards. Requirements include DDS or DMD from a CODA-accredited program, high-volume endodontic experience with complex cases, active licensure or eligibility, current BLS/CPR, ACLS, and DEA registration, and a compassionate approach to serving underserved patients. The role offers flexible scheduling (1-2 days per month), daily compensation structure, company-paid malpractice, and visa/green card sponsorship where applicable. Software and technology used include DentaPro, digital x-ray, and Panorex with dedicated assistants and ongoing OSHA/HIPAA/Emergency Management training.
Required Qualifications
- DDS or DMD from a CODA-accredited dental program
- Active dental license in the state of practice or eligibility for licensure
- Significant hands-on endodontic experience with complex and multi-canal cases
- Current BLS/CPR, ACLS, and DEA registration
- Demonstrated ability to perform root canal therapy and retreatment
- Ability to work PRN with flexible scheduling
- Compassion and desire to serve underserved patients
