Coordinate all aspects of patient oral health care, including diagnosing via oral examinations and radiographs, prescribing medication, performing surgical procedures, and monitoring tissue development. Deliver preventative and emergent services while providing oral hygiene, dietary instruction, and individual counseling for clinic patients. Integrate patient care with other health professionals involved in their management. Requires a South Dakota license or ability to obtain one.
