Job Summary
Dentist providing clinical dental services in a fast-paced community health care setting under the Chief Medical Officer's direction. Responsible for diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of oral diseases, including restorative dentistry, fixed/removable prosthodontics, uncomplicated endodontics, and minor oral surgery. Leads and collaborates with clinic staff, ensures high-quality care, maintains patient records, develops treatment plans with referrals for complex cases, and participates in meetings. Requires DDS/DMD, Kansas licensure, CPR, and willingness to work evenings/weekends; travel to various facility locations and community sites. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred; pediatric patient treatment experience is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited dental school (DDS or DMD) and maintenance of Kansas state dental licensure required
- CPR certification required
- Occasional evening and weekend availability is required
- Develop rapport with patients and families
- Professional demeanor and teamwork
- Excellent customer service and organizational skills
- Cultural sensitivity and ability to communicate medical information in plain language
- Experience with community resources desired
- Current driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Travel to all parts of the facility and throughout the community
