Job Summary
Provide dental services to patients with support from a team including hygienists, assistants, and dental assistants. Manage an office flow averaging 10-12 operative and 20-25 hygiene patients daily while utilizing DentaPro software, digital x-ray units, and fiber-optic handpieces. Participate in morning huddles to plan the day, highlight customer focus, and foster collaboration. Deliver care primarily to children ages 3-21, with up to 30% adult population, utilizing state insurance, PPO, and out-of-network payors. Maintain certifications including CPR, DEA, and Nitrous Oxide (where applicable), and complete yearly OSHA, HIPAA, and Emergency Management training.
Required Qualifications
- DDS/DMD from a dental education program accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation
- Current, valid license to practice dentistry in states where providing care or eligible for licensure
- Other certifications as required - CPR, DEA, etc.
- Nitrous Oxide certification (only LA, MS, DC, TX, MA)
