Job Summary
Organize and maintain the patient charting process, prioritize and review charts for completeness, and manage the patient schedule to ensure workflow. Courteously answer the telephone, greet all patients with a professional attitude, and verify insurance coverage for planned treatments. Collect payment from patients, reconcile daily cash reports, and prepare patient prescriptions. Present treatment plans after calculating co-payments and insurance benefits, while educating patients about their care. Submit dental claims and follow strict COVID-19 precautions, including full vaccination and sanitization procedures. Training is provided for eligible candidates.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of work experience in healthcare, finances, or sales
- 1+ years of experience in dental
- Strong verbal communication skills and outstanding interpersonal skills
- COVID-19 precautions
- Fully vaccination against COVID-19 required
- Personal protective equipment provided or required
- Social distancing guidelines in place
- Sanitizing, disinfecting, or cleaning procedures in place
