Job Summary
Dental Sterilization Technician responsible for cleaning, disinfecting and sterilizing dental instruments to ensure patient and staff safety, preparing treatment rooms between patients, and maintaining infection-control standards. Responsibilities include following manufacturers’ instructions for sterilization equipment, documenting sterilization processes, transporting instruments to the sterilization area, tracking supplies, wearing PPE, and performing routine office tasks as needed; reports to the Center Manager and has no supervisory responsibilities.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Current Basic Life Support Certification or agreement to obtain by the completion of the ninety-day introductory period.
- No experience required; on-the-job training will be provided.
