Job Summary

Develop and reengineer processes for distribution, claims, implementation, and underwriting to enhance operational efficiency and service delivery. Lead a team of dental standards analysts while acting as a subject matter expert on plan-level recommendations to distribution partners and underwriting teams. Manage cross-functional projects related to dental product development, regulatory implementation, and operational improvement, ensuring alignment across Sales, Underwriting, Claims, Network, Legal, and Product stakeholders. Create training materials and standard operating procedures to ensure knowledge scalability, and facilitate sessions that drive continuous learning. Oversee performance guarantees, contract comparisons, and plan options requests to support new business sales and client persistency. Represent Guardian recommendations in Finalist Presentations and Stewardship meetings. Requires 5+ years in dental standards or related areas, with 10-20% travel to field offices and key partners.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, masters degree or equivalent work experience
  • A minimum of 5+ years in at least one core area: Provider Network Management, Group Distribution, Underwriting, Claims, Operations, Dental Standards or Dental Product
  • Strong internal systems knowledge
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Track record of collaborating cross functionally to solve complex business problems and navigate rapidly evolving macro trends
  • Superior knowledge of dental terminology, Current Dental Terminology (CDT) codes, clinical rationale, and policies of dental procedures
  • Knowledge of dental administration, policies, and guidelines
  • 10-20% travel to various field offices, key partners and finalist presentations
  • Locations Preferred locations include Atlanta, GA; Plano, TX, Newport Beach, CA; San Francisco, CA; Chicago, IL; Bethlehem, PA; New York, NY; Holmdel, NJ; and Boston, MA
  • Will consider candidates with required qualifications in other locations and or Remote
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States, without the need for employer sponsorship/support now or at any time in the future
