Dental Resident PL1 position within Children’s Wisconsin, reporting to the Director – Pediatric Dental Residency Program and Medical Director – Children's Dental Center. Responsible for clinical, didactic, and teaching functions: provides dental services to CHW Dental Center patients at multiple locations, participates in residency curriculum and clinical rotations, handles inpatient consultations and on-call emergency care, performs complex dental care including outpatient sedation and generalized anesthesia under attending supervision, complies with safety and documentation policies, attends lectures and courses, initiates a research project, and participates in off-service teaching with Marquette University Dental School. Education and certification requirements include dental degree (D.D.S./D.M.D.) and required BLS and PALS certifications, with active clinical duties and an affiliation with The Medical College of Wisconsin for academic medicine connections.
