Job Summary
Dental Resident PL1 conducts clinical, didactic, and teaching duties in a pediatric dentistry residency. Responsible for providing dental services to CHW Dental Center patients at Milwaukee locations, participating in clinical rotation assignments, providing inpatient consultations and on-call emergency care, and delivering complex dental care to very young or special needs patients under attending supervision. Engages in didactic coursework, lectures, seminars, and departmental meetings; initiates a research project or data collection; participates in off-service teaching with Marquette University Dental School; adheres to policies on care documentation, safety, infection control, and quality assurance; collaborates with The Medical College of Wisconsin and CHW to support academic medicine and patient care. Certifications/Licenses include BLS and PALS as required.
Required Qualifications
- Graduated dental school with a DDS or DMD
- BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider - American Heart Association/American Red Cross/National Safety Council
- PALS-Pediatric Advanced Life Support - American Heart Association/American Red Cross/National Safety Council
- National Dental Board examinations
