Dental Resident (Full-time, Fixed-term) 2026

Dental Resident role at The Royal Children’s Hospital (RCH) in Melbourne, Australia, providing inpatient and outpatient dental care to children and young people with a broad range of medical conditions and special needs. Work with senior and junior dental registrars within the paediatric dental outpatient clinic, with support from Consultant Paediatric Dentists. Responsibilities include planning and providing comprehensive dental care in an outpatient setting, assisting in clinics, wards and procedures under general anesthesia, coordinating dental care with medical teams for patients requiring GA, managing dental trauma presentations, and participating in continuing education within the Dental Department. Requires Dental Registration with AHPRA and demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a small team; strong interpersonal and communication skills; commitment to delivering high-quality clinical care to children and young people.
