Job Summary
Remote, full-time Dental Receptionist/Scheduler role focused on managing patient scheduling across pediatric dentistry and orthodontics locations, handling inbound/outbound communications, verifying insurance (preferred), and ensuring provider schedules are full and running efficiently. Key duties include scheduling new patient appointments, rescheduling and follow-ups, handling emergency walk-ins, coordinating referrals, confirming appointments via phone/text/email, maintaining accurate records in the practice management system, supporting teledentistry and multi-location scheduling, and delivering warm, professional patient experiences to families. Preferred qualifications include dental insurance verification experience, familiarity with CareStack or similar practice management platforms, multi-location practice experience, and Spanish language proficiency.
Required Qualifications
- 1 or more years of experience in a dental, medical, or healthcare front office or receptionist role
- Warm, friendly, and patient communication style
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage a high volume of appointments and communications simultaneously
- Comfortable with dental or medical practice management software
- Able to work independently and stay focused in a remote environment during busy call periods
