Job Summary
Dental Practice Manager for a Shrewsbury, NJ dental practice leading daily operations, staffing, and patient experience in a high-end, fast-paced environment. Responsible for scheduling and patient flow, staff supervision and training, billing and collections, budgeting and financial reporting, regulatory compliance (HIPAA/OSHA/ADA), and growth initiatives including marketing and patient retention. Must excel in leadership, communication, problem-solving, and delivering exceptional service while maintaining a positive, professional workplace and ensuring high standards of care.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a dental practice manager
- Strong ability to lead, coach, and motivate a team
- Exceptional patient care and customer service skills
- Business acumen - monitor production/collection, read P&L, manage budgets, set and reach goals
- Ability to adapt, multitask, and support the team as needed
- Proactive and solution-oriented mindset for navigating challenges
- Motivated for long-term growth within an expanding company
- Experience overseeing billing, insurance verification, and timely collection
- Knowledge of HIPAA, OSHA, ADA and related compliance for dental offices
- Develop and execute marketing strategies to attract and retain patients
- Coordinate patient outreach and recall systems
- Collaborate with dentist/practice owner on growth strategies
