Job Summary
Manage all day-to-day operations of assigned locations, including employee relations, patient relations, and achieving operational goals. Improve operational management systems, processes, and best practices while building effective relationships with doctors, upper management, and support team members. Serve as the liaison between the corporate office and the location to drive efficiencies in dental material inventory and patient experience. Achieve revenue goals by leading office teams, managing patient scheduling, and overseeing collections and receivables in a cost-efficient manner. Maintain oversight of daily and weekly office and team member hours to make effective staffing recommendations. Analyze practice performance and recruit, train, and supervise team members. Requires 5 years of multi-location management experience and 75% travel between offices.
Required Qualifications
- Proven work experience as dental office manager or similar role in dentistry
- Knowledge of organizational effectiveness and dental operations management
- Experience in budgeting and financial principles
- Ability to inspire, influence, and coach teams to success
- Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain professionalism in difficult and stressful situations
- Experience successfully maintaining a positive attitude while working in a team environment with competing priorities
- Ability to maintain confidentiality with individual interactions with team members and patients
- Strong computer skills and highly proficient in MS Office Suite, Windows, Google Suite
- Ability to think critically, in the assessment of materials that will help team understand new concepts and procedures
- Outstanding organization and administrative accountability
- High School Diploma or GED
- BS in Business, preferred
- 5 years of multi-location management experience, preferably in the dental, medical, or retail space
- Minimum (3) years of progressive leadership experience
- Current State Driver's License & Clean Driving Record
- Experience working with team members across multiple functional roles
- Ability to spend prolonged periods of time sitting at a desk using a computer
- Requires 75% travel between assigned offices
