Job Summary
Manage patient appointment scheduling, cancellations, and rescheduling while conducting proactive outreach to remind patients of upcoming visits. Answer multiple telephone lines, route calls, and document messages accurately. Welcome and check in patients, ensuring complete registration documentation and verifying insurance coverage and demographics. Process checkout, collect co-payments, and maintain organized medical records. Handle administrative duties including copying and faxing to support office operations. This full-time, on-site role in Magnolia, Texas requires bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish, three years of dental office experience, and proficiency with dental management software.
Required Qualifications
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (required)
- Minimum of 3 years of dental office experience
- Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Proficiency with computer systems, including Microsoft Office and dental management software (such as Athena Health)
- Professional demeanor with a positive attitude and strong team collaboration skills
- High school diploma or GED
Desired Qualifications
- Texas Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) License
- Nitrous oxide sedation monitoring certification
