Job Summary
Oversee daily dental office operations, manage front and back office teams, and lead hiring, scheduling, coaching, and disciplinary actions. Ensure efficiency in registration, appointment management, and patient processing while monitoring customer service and addressing complaints. Manage billing, collections, insurance claims, coding accuracy, budgeting, and inventory. Maintain compliance with sterilization, infection control, OSHA, HIPAA, and state/federal regulations. Generate operational reports and coordinate community outreach events. Requires 5+ years in the dental field, 2+ years in management, valid CPR, and infection control certification. Full-time, temporary assignment in Oildale, CA.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the dental field as a Dental Assistant and/or Dental Front Office professional
- Minimum 2 years of management experience within a dental setting
- Current and valid CPR certification
- 8-Hour Infection Control Certificate
- Completion of Radiation Safety Course
Desired Qualifications
- Experience within a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) environment
- Bilingual English/Spanish
- Experience with dental billing, insurance claims, coding, and practice management software such as Dentrix, NextGen, or similar systems
