Job Summary
Fabricate prosthesis, dentures, dental implants, and orthodontic appliances by following prescriptions and standard operating procedures. Pours impressions, performs all stages of the prosthetic process, and repairs appliances using tools such as porcelain ovens, furnaces, and lathes. Maintain a clean and orderly lab area while collaborating with dentists and other technicians. Requires strong computer skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. Afternoon and evening shifts available; willing to learn on-the-job.
Required Qualifications
- Must be willing to commute to work every day
- Might require relocation to CT
- Must be available to start later in the day and work into the evening
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Ability to be physically mobile (stand, walk, reach, climb, bend)
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods throughout the day/work hours when needed
- Manual dexterity sufficient to operate equipment
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 20 pounds occasionally
Desired Qualifications
- Prior dental experience is helpful
