Dental Lab CAD CAM Technician Trainee

Job Summary
Read prescriptions and specifications from dentists, then operate CAD/CAM software for scanning, file creation, and nesting designs for milling and printing. Load patient data including names and shades, and follow strict steps to ensure consistent, accurate results. Review final work to confirm quality standards are met and clean the work area daily. Requires excellent hand-eye coordination, strong organizational skills, and the ability to read and execute written instructions. This trainee role includes paid on-the-job training, with a focus on utilizing 3D printers and small machinery within our network of 50 labs.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent hand-eye coordination
- Strong ability to read, listen, comprehend, retain, and execute on written and verbal instructions
- High level of organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize work
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- Fine motor skills and ability to perform repetitive motions
- Vision capabilities, including depth perception, attention to detail, and color
Desired Qualifications
- Previous dental experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
