Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care services. Perform all aspects of clinical preventative hygiene including scaling, root planning, polishing, topical fluoride, pit and fissure sealants, and whitening. Serve as an oral health educator introducing new preventative techniques and counselling patients. Establish and retain patient loyalty while maintaining ethical and professional behavior. Requires a Dental Hygiene Diploma or Degree, current provincial registration, and valid CPR certification. Schedule is Monday to Thursday, 8am to 4pm, and Fridays, 8am to 3:30pm. Wage is $57-$62/hour with health benefits, uniform allowance, paid CE, and RRSP matching.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of a Dental Hygiene Diploma or Degree
- Current registration as a Dental Hygienist in good standing with the provincial regulatory body
- Valid CPR certification
- Legal authorization to work in Canada
