Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive dental hygiene procedures, patient screenings, and medical history documentation while utilizing Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanners, and electronic medical record systems. Deliver preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health through clinical excellence and patient education. Work a full-time, four-day week (Monday through Thursday) with long weekends, reporting to a practice manager within a collaborative, team-focused environment. Maintain CPR certification and complete a pre-employment tuberculosis test as part of the onboarding process.
Required Qualifications
- Current dental hygienist license in Pennsylvania
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene (where required)
- Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
- CPR Certification
- Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/ Doctor/ Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation
- Prolonged periods sitting and standing
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
- Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person) periodically throughout the year
- Tuberculosis (TB) test
