Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive dental hygiene procedures, patient screenings, and medical history documentation while utilizing diagnostic tools like Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanners, and electronic medical record systems. Provide preventative care and overall maintenance for patients, collaborating with the clinical team to deliver high-quality dental experiences. Work a full-time, four-day schedule (Monday through Thursday) with long weekends, reporting to a supportive leadership team. Maintain CPR certification and complete a required tuberculosis test prior to employment.
Required Qualifications
- Current dental hygienist license in [INSERT STATE OF OFFICE]
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene (where required)
- Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
- CPR Certification
- Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/ Doctor/ Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation
- Prolonged periods sitting and standing
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
- Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person) periodically throughout the year
- Tuberculosis (TB) test
