Job Summary
Conduct dental hygiene procedures, patient screening, and medical history documentation for Friday shifts at Valley Dental Group. Utilize Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanners, and electronic medical record systems while adhering to clinical needs as required by the office. Maintain patient dental health through preventative care and overall maintenance. Complete mandatory tuberculosis testing prior to employment and attend periodic virtual or in-person training sessions. Perform essential duties including prolonged periods sitting or standing and lifting up to 45 pounds. New grads welcome to apply for this part-time role.
Required Qualifications
- Current dental hygienist license in MN
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene
- Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
- CPR Certification
- Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/ Doctor/ Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation
- Prolonged periods sitting and standing
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
- Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person) periodically throughout the year
- Tuberculosis (TB) test

- Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health
