Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive dental hygiene procedures, patient screenings, and medical history documentation for Plymouth Meeting Family Dental. Utilize Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanners, and electronic medical record systems to deliver preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health. Perform essential duties including prolonged periods of sitting and standing, and lift up to 45 pounds as required. Complete a mandatory tuberculosis test prior to starting employment and attend virtual or in-person training sessions periodically. Work full-time Tuesday through Friday with access to mentorship, continuing education, and competitive benefits including health insurance and retirement savings.
Required Qualifications
- Current dental hygienist license in Pennsylvania
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene (where required)
- Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
- CPR Certification
- Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/ Doctor/ Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
- Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person) periodically throughout the year
- Tuberculosis (TB) test
