Job Summary
Provide exceptional lifetime patient care as an integral member of the patient care team, offering full clinical autonomy and time for each patient. Deliver preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanners, and electronic medical record systems. Work Monday through Thursday from 7am to 4pm while participating in a robust 1:1 hygiene mentorship program to enhance clinical skills. Complete required TB testing and virtual training sessions. Join a six-person collaborative team supported by Heartland Dental's extensive network of experts and best-in-class administrative resources.
Required Qualifications
- Current dental hygienist license in Ohio
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene
- Excellent working knowledge of dentistry
- Dental hygiene procedures
- Dental patient screening
- Medical history documentation
- CPR Certification
- Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/ Doctor/ Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation
- Prolonged periods sitting and standing
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
- Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person) periodically throughout the year
- Tuberculosis (TB) test
