Job Summary
Conduct dental hygiene procedures, patient screenings, and medical history documentation while utilizing tools such as Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanners, and electronic medical record systems. Perform preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health, adhering to clinical needs as required by the office. Complete a tuberculosis test prior to employment and attend virtual or in-person training sessions periodically. Work Tuesday through Friday with a schedule designed for work-life balance, including specific hours for each day.
Required Qualifications
- Current dental hygienist license in Oklahoma
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene (where required)
- Excellent working knowledge of dentistry
- Excellent working knowledge of dental hygiene procedures
- Excellent working knowledge of dental patient screening
- Excellent working knowledge of medical history documentation
- CPR Certification
- Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/ Doctor/ Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation
- Prolonged periods sitting and standing
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
- Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person) periodically throughout the year
- Tuberculosis (TB) test
