Job Summary
Diagnose and treat diseases, injuries, and malformations of teeth and gums while supervising aseptic treatment techniques and maintaining necessary supplies. Provide preventive services including fluoride applications, sealants, and oral hygiene education to patients and school-age children. Coordinate local dental health projects, serve as a consultant to medical services and the North Carolina Dental Society, and promote dental health programs with local agencies. Maintain accurate patient charts and dental records, interpret patient records, and implement treatment regimens under a licensed Dentist's supervision.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an approved school of dentistry
- two years of experience in the general practice of dentistry
