Job Summary
Perform scaling, prophylaxis, x-rays, sealants, fluoride application, and related procedures under general dentist supervision while delivering compassionate care to patients. Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene, assess dental conditions and medical history, and guide families through the full treatment process. Take and file x-rays in patient charts as needed and assist with dental and periodontal charting. Offer same-day care whenever possible to provide excellent customer service. Adhere to all government regulations and company standards. Maintain current state Dental Hygienist license and CPR/BLS certification.
Required Qualifications
- Current state Dental Hygienist license
- CPR/BLS certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association, including a hands-on skills assessment (required at hire)
