Job Summary
Licensed Dental Hygienist sought to provide high-quality care at Lowe’s Island Dentistry. Responsibilities include comprehensive dental hygiene services such as periodontal charting, X-rays, prophylaxis, scaling and root planing, and fluoride treatments, utilizing advanced technology (laser therapy, iTero scanner, CBCT, Dentrix). The role emphasizes patient education and collaboration with the dentist on treatment planning, with a schedule featuring 60-minute recare and 90-minute new-patient appointments. Participates in a benefits-rich environment with medical/vision/dental insurance, 401(k), PTO, and equal-opportunity policies; compliance with VA licensure requirements and CPR/BLS. Required Qualifications
- Active VA Dental Hygiene License (or in process)
- Current CPR/BLS Certification
- Proficient in all aspects of dental hygiene including periodontal charting, X-rays, prophylaxis, scaling & root planing, and fluoride treatment
