Dental Hygienist

Dental Hygienist position in the Comprehensive Dentistry department at Texas A&M University Health Science Center (Dallas). Responsibilities include direct patient care such as oral prophylaxis, scaling, root planing, and other preventative services; educating patients on preventive oral health; completing oral screenings and developing care plans; reviewing patient histories and recording treatment details; managing a patient load of four to five per day; and supporting clinical administration and scheduling processes. Requirements include an Associate degree (or equivalent experience), three years in a dental clinic, and a Dental Hygienist license. Preferred qualifications include local anesthesia or nitrous oxide certification, infection control/OSHA knowledge, experience in a high-volume educational institute, advanced dental terminology knowledge, some administrative experience, and strong communication and organizational skills. On-site role based in Dallas, TX with typical hours Monday–Friday 8am–5pm.
