Job Summary
Deliver comprehensive preventive and periodontal care including prophylaxis, scaling, root planing, and oral cancer screenings while collaborating with a dedicated dental assistant to optimize schedule and manage room turnover. Partner with dentists to recommend treatment plans and proactively drive hygiene production by maximizing chair time and supporting same-day treatment opportunities. Maintain strong patient relationships through clear communication and personalized education while engaging in ongoing professional development via CE opportunities and internal forums. Work within a Team (Assisted) Hygiene model to enhance the patient experience in a diverse, inclusive environment. Open to full-time, part-time, or PRN shifts, this role offers a competitive hourly rate with production bonuses, malpractice insurance, and extensive benefits including PTO and a 401(k).
Required Qualifications
- Degree from an accredited dental hygiene program
- Current, active hygiene license in the state you're applying for
- Current Anesthesia/ Nitrous license in applicable state
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Comfort with digital charting and x-rays, intraoral cameras, and technology-driven care
- Open to full-time (32–40 hours/week including AM/PM and Saturday shifts), part-time (2–3 days/week including AM/PM and Saturday shifts), or PRN (work when you want!)
