Dental Hygienist at Tend delivers comprehensive preventive and periodontal care in a Team (Assisted) Hygiene model, collaborating with a dental assistant and dentists to optimize patient flow, manage sterilization, and drive hygiene production. Responsibilities include prophylaxis, SRP, gingivitis scaling, oral cancer screenings, Zoom whitening, sealants, fluoride treatments, Itero scans, Perio Protect, and patient education, while maintaining strong patient relationships and contributing to a supportive, team-driven clinical environment. The role supports full-time, part-time, or PRN schedules in a Brooklyn, NY studio with a base hourly pay of $52-$58 and potential monthly bonuses; benefits include malpractice insurance, health/dental/vision insurance, PTO, 401(k), EAP, and flexible professional development opportunities. Required Qualifications
- Degree from an accredited dental hygiene program
- Current, active hygiene license in the applying state
- Current Anesthesia/Nitrous license in applicable state
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Comfort with digital charting and x-rays, intraoral cameras, and technology-driven care
