Job Summary
Deliver comprehensive preventive and periodontal care including prophylaxis, scaling, root planing, oral cancer screenings, and digital diagnostics while collaborating with a dedicated dental assistant to optimize schedule and manage room turnover. Partner with dentists to recommend treatment plans and proactively drive production by maximizing chair time and supporting same-day opportunities. Maintain strong patient relationships through clear communication and personalized education within Tend's Team (Assisted) Hygiene model. Engage in ongoing professional development via CE opportunities and internal forums. Requires an active hygiene license, anesthesia certification, and comfort with technology; open to full-time, part-time, or PRN schedules.
Required Qualifications
- Degree from an accredited dental hygiene program
- Current, active hygiene license in the state you're applying for
- Current Anesthesia/ Nitrous license in applicable state
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Comfort with digital charting and x-rays, intraoral cameras, and technology-driven care
- Open to full-time (32–40 hours/week including AM/PM and Saturday shifts), part-time (2–3 days/week including AM/PM and Saturday shifts), or PRN (work when you want!)
