Job Summary
Deliver comprehensive preventive and periodontal dental hygiene care within Tend’s Team (Assisted) Hygiene model, partnering with a dedicated dental assistant to optimize patient flow and care. Responsibilities include prophylaxis, SRP, gingivitis scaling, oral cancer screenings, Zoom whitening, sealants, fluoride treatments, Itero scans, and patient education, while collaborating with dentists to identify and communicate treatment plans. Maintain patient relationships, maximize chair time, support same-day treatment opportunities, and participate in ongoing professional development and studio teamwork to ensure efficient, high-quality care.
Required Qualifications
- Degree from an accredited dental hygiene program
- Current, active hygiene license in the state you’re applying for
- Current Anesthesia/Nitrous license in applicable state
- Current CPR/BLS certification
