Job Summary
Dental Hygienist at Tend delivering comprehensive preventive and periodontal care in a Team (Assisted) Hygiene model, collaborating with a dedicated dental assistant and dentists to optimize patient care and hygiene production. Requires degree from an accredited hygiene program, active state license, anesthesia/nitrous license, CPR/BLS, and comfort with digital charting and imaging. Open to full-time (32–40 hours/week), part-time (2–3 days/week), or PRN. Base pay ranges from $52–$58/hour with monthly production-based bonuses; benefits include malpractice insurance, medical/dental/vision, PTO, 401(k), and ongoing CE opportunities. Location: Kearny, NJ, US (on-site role). The role focuses on delivering preventive and periodontal care (prophylaxis, SRP, gingivitis scaling, screenings, imaging, sealants, whitening, and education) in alignment with evidence-based guidelines, while partnering with team members to maximize efficiency and patient experience.
Required Qualifications
- Degree from an accredited dental hygiene program
- Current, active hygiene license in the state you’re applying for
- Current Anesthesia/ Nitrous license in applicable state
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Comfort with digital charting and x-rays, intraoral cameras, and technology-driven care
