Job Summary
Deliver comprehensive preventive and periodontal dental hygiene care in a modern studio using an Assisted Hygiene model. Collaborate with a dedicated dental assistant to optimize patient flow, sterilization, and documentation; partner with dentists for hygiene exams to tailor treatment plans; drive hygiene production by maximizing chair time and enabling same-day care opportunities. Maintain strong patient relationships through clear communication and personalized education; engage in ongoing professional development via CE opportunities and internal forums; work within Tend’s Team (Assisted) Hygiene model with a supportive, team-driven environment. Requires degree from an accredited dental hygiene program, active hygiene license in the applying state, applicable anesthesia/nitrous license, CPR/BLS certification, proficiency with digital charting and x-rays, and openness to full-time, part-time, or PRN schedules.
Required Qualifications
- Degree from an accredited dental hygiene program
- Current, active hygiene license in the state you’re applying for
- Current Anesthesia/ Nitrous license in applicable state
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Comfort with digital charting and x-rays, intraoral cameras, and technology-driven care
- Open to full-time (32–40 hours/week including AM/PM and Saturday shifts), part-time (2–3 days/week including AM/PM and Saturday shifts), or PRN (work when you want!)
