Job Summary
Dental Hygienist at Tend delivering comprehensive preventive and periodontal care (prophylaxis, SRP, gingivitis scaling, sealants, fluoride, Zoom whitening) in a modern studio with a dedicated dental assistant under our Team (Assisted) Hygiene model. You’ll work with dentists to identify and recommend treatment plans, drive hygiene production, and maintain strong patient relationships. Responsibilities include collaborating with a dental assistant to optimize scheduling, sterilization, and documentation; providing patient education; participating in CE opportunities; and engaging with the broader studio team to ensure seamless patient care. Requirements include a degree from an accredited dental hygiene program, active hygiene license, anesthesia/nitrous license where applicable, CPR/BLS certification, proficiency with digital charting and x-rays, and flexibility to work FT/PT/PRN. Base pay ranges from $52–$58 per hour with monthly performance bonus potential; location is Forest Hills, NY (US).
Required Qualifications
- Degree from an accredited dental hygiene program
- Current, active hygiene license in the applying state
- Current Anesthesia/Nitrous license in applicable state
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Comfort with digital charting and x-rays, intraoral cameras, and technology-driven care
- Open to full-time (32–40 hours/week including AM/PM and Saturday shifts), part-time (2–3 days/week including AM/PM and Saturday shifts), or PRN
