Job Summary
Dental Hygienist delivering comprehensive preventive and periodontal care in Tend’s Team (Assisted) Hygiene model. You’ll perform prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, scaling and root planing (SRP), gingivitis scaling, and advanced techniques (e.g., SRP, sealants, fluoride, Zoom whitening, Itero, Perio Protect, Curodont) while educating patients and driving hygiene production. Collaborate with a dedicated dental assistant to optimize scheduling, sterilization, and documentation; partner with dentists to identify treatment needs and support same-day opportunities. Maintain strong patient relationships through clear communication and personalized education; engage in ongoing professional development via CE opportunities and internal forums. Qualifications include a degree from an accredited dental hygiene program, active hygiene license in the applying state, anesthesia/nitrous license where applicable, CPR/BLS certification, and proficiency with digital charting and radiography.
