Job Summary
Conduct 60-minute recall and 90-minute new patient appointments using Dentrix, while performing clinical needs as required by the office. Utilize Velscope, iTero, and electronic medical record systems to deliver preventative care and maintain patient dental health. Complete medical history documentation and patient screening, adhering to physical requirements for prolonged standing and lifting up to 45 pounds. Maintain a schedule of Monday through Friday with bi-weekly or hourly pay, including opportunities for daily bonuses and opt-in daily pay. Join a 15-person team supported by Heartland Dental, receiving mentorship and access to continuing education resources.
Required Qualifications
- Current dental hygienist license in Missouri
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene
- Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
- CPR Certification
- Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/ Doctor/ Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation
- Prolonged periods sitting and standing
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
- Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person) periodically throughout the year
- Tuberculosis (TB) test

- Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health
